Alice in Wonderland- Fun Facts!!

uuuuuuuuh I forgot to tell you in the other article about some fun facts regarding Alice In Wonderland!!

The First is that our beloved Natalie Shau (the illustrator I told you about in a past article) has made a wonderful picture about AIW that has also finished to be published as the cover of AIW book in different countries!! Here's the cover of the book:

The second fun fact is that Alice really existed. She was a 10 year old girl called Alice Pleasence Liddel that insisted a lot to make Carroll tell her and her 2 sisters the story that then became AIW during a trip on a boat in a golden afternoon (too bad someone found out that the 4th of july 1865 was a rainy day! xD) Also did you know that Alice wasn't blonde with blue eyes?? She was black haired with a fringe! Carroll chose to turn Alice blonde because in the years he lived in being blonde with curly wavy hair was the most loved type of child and women!

This is another Shau's AIW inspired pic! :)

Third thing is that in the Original Soundtrack of the movie the song " A very good advice" is sung by Robert Smith from The Cure :) . Too bad the main song has been given to Avril Lavigne and to others un-talented people. -_-"
